Today we are joined by David Cannon, who has taken pretty much every iconic golf photograph in golf in the last 38 years – and that might not even be an exaggeration!

Recognised as one of the leading golf photographers in the world. He has photographed over 120 mens majors, copious Ryder Cups, every Solheim Cup played, Walker Cups and over 500 tournaments around the globe.

In this pod we talk through his journey into golf photography, his most famous pictures ever taken including Seve in 1984 and Jack Nicklaus in 1986. He tells us of his decision to run down the fair way with Van De Velde’s 18th at the open in 1999. We talk through his changing role in the Ryder Cup and how he fell into official photographer for the European team and the miracle of Medinah.

We loved taking to David and I hope you guys enjoy!
