– **How Used:** Sent to OpenAI’s API for transcription and analysis
– **Storage:** Not stored permanently; processed and discarded
– **Your Control:** You control when recordings are made

– **What:** Names, relationships, birthdays, and other details you provide
– **How Used:** Stored locally on your device to update your Contacts
– **Storage:** Only on your device; never sent to external servers except OpenAI for processing
– **Your Control:** You control what information is saved

### 3. Calendar Data
– **What:** Birthday events and reminders
– **How Used:** Create calendar events in your device’s Calendar app
– **Storage:** Stored in your device’s Calendar app
– **Your Control:** You can delete calendar events at any time

### 4. OpenAI API Key
– **What:** Your personal OpenAI API key
– **How Used:** To authenticate with OpenAI’s API for transcription and analysis
– **Storage:** Stored securely in your device’s Keychain
– **Your Control:** You provide and can remove your API key at any time

## Third-Party Services

### OpenAI API
The App uses OpenAI’s Whisper and GPT APIs to:
– Transcribe your voice recordings
– Extract structured information (names, dates, relationships)

**Data Sent to OpenAI:**
– Audio recordings (for transcription)
– Transcribed text (for information extraction)

**Important:** OpenAI may store data temporarily but does not use your data to train their models when you use the API. Your API key usage is subject to OpenAI’s terms of service.

– All data is stored locally on your device

– No user data is collected or stored on our servers (we don’t have servers)
– Voice recordings are processed by OpenAI then discarded

## Your Rights

You have the right to:
– **Access:** View all data stored locally through the Contacts and Calendar apps
– **Delete:** Remove your API key from Settings
– **Control:** Choose what information to save to Contacts
– **Opt-out:** Stop using the app and delete it at any time

## Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

## Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this policy.

## Data Retention

– Voice recordings: Not retained (processed and discarded)
– Contact information: Stored locally on your device until you delete it
– API key: Stored until you remove it from Settings

You are responsible for all costs associated with your OpenAI API usage. We recommend monitoring your usage at https://platform.openai.com/usage.

## Permissions Required
